Yellow Flowers and Bows, Oh My!
Vivid yellow is scarce. There’s the bright sun and fields of sunflowers in nature, but to see yellow elsewhere is a rarity.
Yellow is an attention-getter. It’s a color of optimism, too, and is seen as enhancing concentration. To integrate this lively color into your wedding color palette is an easy way to ensure a bright, bold punch of cheery color. Think bows on your toes, or an attention-grabber on your gown (as is so beautifully demonstrated below – WOW). Spring for sugar paste flowers in a sea of white buttercream frosting, or go bountiful with yellow bouquets and overflowering centerpieces.
Have fun! Don’t be afraid of this vibrant color! Mixed with color it can pack some major punch. Paired with a light gray it can offer a fabulous contract. But a word of caution: use bright yellow sparingly, as it can be overpowering. Remember, too: Beauty is in the details.
