Choosing the Perfect Cake Topper
When planning your wedding, there is a large number of events and activities you need to take into consideration and plan, so it is important to accomplish all of the smaller events and items ahead of time. This way, when it comes down closer to your wedding date, you have less to think about and consider. One such item is the perfect cake topper. It is a small piece that perhaps not everyone in the wedding party, or even the guests, are going to notice, but as the couple tying the knot, you are sure to appreciate the perfect topper. Plus, most couples save the top of their cakes and eat it on the one year anniversary. Because you are always going to remember the cake topper, and it is sure to be one of the items and keepsakes you hold onto for the rest of your life, it is important to pick the perfect cake topper for your wedding cake.
For starters, there are the older, vintage cake toppers you are able to go with. The vintage cake toppers are generally the older looking toppers of two individuals standing on the top of the cake. You are even able to obtain these cake toppers from your parents, if you so choose. Wedding cake toppers are not incredibly large, so you don’t have much to worry about in terms of expenses, but every little bit you are able to save counts, and if you want to use your parents or grandparents vintage cake tops, you are typically more than welcome to.
Personalized wedding cake toppers are becoming more and more popular. These are not necessarily individuals standing on the cake, but are actually the initials of the individuals on the top of the cake. Many weddings are starting to move away form the older, vintage look, and want something fresh, such as the personalized wedding cake toppers. These monogram wedding cake toppers are a nice touch, and with so many different fonts and styles, you are able to completely decorate and adjust how you are planning to make the cake look. If the cake has a specific design, you can communicate with the cake decorator to see if they have any recommendations as to the kind of monogram wedding cake toppers that would look best for the cake. This way, everything flows well together and nothing looks out of place.
If you are like many individuals, you have been planning your dream wedding for years, possibly even before you met your special someone. Of course, there are always small details you don’t actually think about. One such feature are the cake toppers for your wedding cake. This is a small item you need to take care of, but is easily pushed aside until the last minute. However, it is not difficult to find the perfect cake topper. With with a little help, you are sure to locate the very best option for your cake, from a monogram all the way to vintage looks.

Romance in Campeche, Mexico, Pt. 1
There are two Mexicos. There’s Mexico with white, sandy beaches alongside new, spotless resorts. And there’s Old Mexico, a truer Mexico, with historic buildings and intense culture and colors. We’re visiting the latter today in Campeche, Mexico for our second stop on our Weddings from around the World series (did you miss Paris?).
Campeche is sprinkled with historic buildings with magnificent architecture, grand old haciendas boasting open and hidden spaces, towering cathedrals and a downtown with painted facades and a grand central square. Witness some of the beautiful Campeche weddings; we love the emphasis on color and especially romance.
In fact, Campeche’s so romantic that we’re spreading the inspiration out over two posts.
Kisses, Raya
