Pretty In Pink Shoes
Here comes the bride…all dressed in white… and pink shoes?!
We’ve found this posting Weddzilla.com enjoy…
Ever since I knew I loved the color pink, I wanted to wear pink shoes on my wedding day. Even when our wedding colors were “blue and purple with accents of silver”, I still planned on wearing pink shoes. I also opted for a shorter dress just so I could show off my killer taste in shoe color!
Here are some of the shoes I drooled over throughout the shoe selection process…
I positively swooned over the Alexander McQueen pair (the first picture in the top row) with the sweet heart cutout peeptoe, but at over $900, they were way over my price range.
I actually purchased the black and white Paris Hilton Vogue pumps (the last picture in the top row), but I later decided they were too tall and not the right shade of pink. But, don’t worry, I still have them and love wearing them on special occasions.
I also have the pink pleated Forever 21 pumps (last pair in the third row), but the pleated detail looked kinda funny. I later exchanged the pleats for pink bows that I made from some spare pink ribbon. I truly love them now, and I intend to wear them for the 80′s-themed rehearsal dinner!
The pair upon which I finally settled, though, is the Candies pair in the center! They had everything I was looking for – pink, peeptoe, slingback, and flower/bow detail! They are more fuchsia than pink, but they look perfect with my off-white dress. And at only 20-some dollars, the price was absolutely right!
