October is breast cancer awareness month, a time to support the cause against breast cancer, a time to give back. So, what better month to have a pink wedding than October?  Not only is it a bright and fun color to plan your wedding, you can also support the cause by asking guests to donate money to your favorite breast cancer research charity in lieu of gifts. Or better yet you may give back to a charity in lieu of favors.

We recently met one of our favorite couples, Dana and Hunter. Dana, the cheery and enthusiastic blogger of Broke-Ass Bride, planned her wedding on a small budget, but it was full of love and joy! They are the happiest couple we’ve ever seen (both with smiles from ear to ear), so we wanted to share some of their beautiful and happy moments from their big day.

Dana and Hunter made their wedding very fun and personal with whimsical touches, such as peacock feather ties for the men in the wedding and splashes of bright color, like the bride’s blazing red shoes.
