The 84th Annual Academy Awards red carpet sparkled with stars and we were excited to see all the gorgeous, stunning and classy gowns. We especially appreciated that many stars brought COLOR back to the red carpet- and here are a few our four favorite picks!

Although we loved the beautiful array of colorful gowns, white is always a favorite of ours…

With the unveiling of the new collections at bridal market less than two weeks ago, it’s evident you’re free to be any type of bride these days: simple, chic, over-the-top, bohemian, classic, sexy.

Modern one-shoulder gowns held up in popularity this time around, as well as short dresses. Color stayed, especially beige and black thanks much to Vera Wang, who presented NO white or ivory gowns this season.

We also saw more interesting shapes, proportions and textures than ever. Mega texture, actually. On display too were bold prints, sleeves and necklines of varying length and styles, shrugs for winter weddings and some gasp-worthy surprises sprinkled in.

The recent couture shows in Paris have been nothing short of fabulous. We’re especially marveling over Elie Saab’s collection of dreamy gowns fit for a princess. And think of all the brides that want a wedding gown befitting of a fairy tail…
