Twobirds was founded by Ariane Goldman on the premise that being a bridesmaid doesnʼt have to mean forgoing style, and that a bridesmaid can not only be happy for the bride on her special day, but happy that she looks so fabulous!

The twobirds dress is one dress, with “arms” or straps that wrap, twist, tie and tuck into your own style, from casual to chic. This is a great choice for brides who want her maids to keep her individual style, while still keeping the same color. We’re loving the flowy and fun choices this one dress offers. There are two Mexicos. There’s Mexico with white, sandy beaches alongside new, spotless resorts. And there’s Old Mexico, a truer Mexico, with historic buildings and intense culture and colors. We’re visiting the latter today in Campeche, Mexico for our second stop on our Weddings from around the World series (did you miss Paris?).

Campeche is sprinkled with historic buildings with magnificent architecture, grand old haciendas boasting open and hidden spaces, towering cathedrals and a downtown with painted facades and a grand central square. Witness some of the beautiful Campeche weddings; we love the emphasis on color and especially romance.

In fact, Campeche’s so romantic that we’re spreading the inspiration out over two posts.
