Real Wedding: Jessie and Adam

This amazing and beautiful real wedding is brought to us by Kris Kan, who describes Jessie and Adam’s wedding as a “down to earth and simple” wedding. And down-to-earth it is, the bride’s beautiful airy gown, the grooms comfy soles, and the scattered petals are just a few of the relaxed aura of the wedding.

The simple black and white color scheme of the wedding is accented with vibrant pops of fuchsia roses. Truly a chic wedding captured with beautiful photography.

Color Inspiration: Mint Green

No matter the season, no matter the budget, mint green can, with ease, be integrated into a wedding’s theme or color scheme. Mint looks superb on most skin tones and hair colors (which bodes well for bridesmaids), and not many colors, accept perhaps baby blue or blush pink, are quite as sweet and alluring.

Don’t let this pale color fool you, a touch of mint goes a long way. We especially love the fairytale-esque quality of mint on the raven-haired bridesmaid below.

Love, Raya

Fabulous Holiday Centerpieces and Tablescapes

Whether you’re planning a holiday or winter wedding or would like to infuse your next family gathering with the classic decorating elements of a wedding (i.e. centerpieces), we’ve gathered photos to inspire your creations.

No more boring red and green decor with pinecones and greenery. Our favorite trend is to add pink to your holiday color scheme, or dazzle with blue and silver wintery elements. To further get your creative juices going, think of unique glassware, candles galore, anything that dazzles like dangling crystals or anything with glitter, ornaments, carnations and poinsettias, gold flatware, and towering silver displays.

Happy Holidays!
Raya & Erin
