Bridal Fashion Week Trends

Bridal Fashion Week closed on Wednesday in New York and one of the  key trends was winter romance and the term ‘winter wonderland’, was used by many of the designers as their inspiration. ‘Snowflakes’ made of diamonds and crystals were embellished on many of the dresses such as the Monique Lhuillier gown pictured here.

Other trends included overall romance, including draping, ruffles, floral details, transparent layering and tulle. The main color trend was ivory and accessories such as pillbox hats, fascinators, and short gloves were mainly inspired by Jackie O and Old Hollywood Glamour.

And for those budget brides, Badgley Mischka announced a more affordable line of bridal dresses during the event, due out in stores next Spring.  Earlier this year, Monique Lhuillier made a similar announcement.
