DIY Bridal Party Cookies

Ever wonder how we make our amazingly delicious and stylish cookies? Well, wonder no more…here’s the scoop!

The Weddingish Newsprint Bridal Party Cookies were inspired by the polished black and white style of traditional news print.  A more refined version of Weddingish’s famous bridal party cookies, these have become particularly popular and admired.  With an overwhelming demand for cookies, cookies, cookies, these original newsprint cookies have helped brides and grooms everywhere ask or thank their bridal parties with a sweet alternative to the conventional greeting card!  Every cookie is baked fresh to order and personalized for each individual.  So just how are these famously delicious cookies made? Here are a few steps of how the sweet and stylish treats are made to perfection.

Step One : The scrumptious sugar cookie has been baked and cut into a shape of a dress form- exclusive Weddingish design.  You may pick your favorite dress cookie cutter!

Step Four: The ‘skirt’ is carefully cut and shaped to the form of the cookie.

Step Five: Once the icing has dried, the dress is then ‘piped’ with black royal icing to outline the dress form. Then detailed on top with three ‘buttons.’ This gives the cookie a clean and finished look.
