Guest bride blogger Erin Schneckloth

When Weddingish approached me about being a guest blogger, I couldn’t resist the idea of sharing my thoughts and insights with potential brides.  But I couldn’t help but think: What do I have to share?

Plenty, I’ve discovered.

Since I began the wedding planning nearly six months ago, I’ve learned more than I ever thought I would know about weddings.  And I have discovered I have a sincere love of weddings, as well.  All that I’ve been through so far as a bride-to-be, like the research, flipping through countless bridal magazines, and setting up appointments with the endless list of vendors, have all added to my experience.  It’s an exhausting process.  A note for fellow brides to keep in mind: you are planning the most fabulous party of your life!

My fiancé and I have a very intimate affair set for this coming June in Colorado, over 1,000 miles away from our place in Los Angeles.  The first hurdle to planning this semi-destination wedding was planning our event based on only one trip through Colorado to meet with all our vendors, and that was in October – nine months before our wedding.  Having a small budget with which to work has presented its challenges, too.  Come to think of it, there have been several hurdles to overcome!

I am so excited to share my story, insights, inspiration and knowledge with the readers of the Weddingish blog.  I will revisit the planning and work I have done thus far, the work that has yet to be finished, and all the decisions and choices along the way.  Feel free to ask any questions, as well – I would love to hear from you!

Until next time…

The New Bridal Corset Tank Top

A question every bride asks herself…what will I wear while I get ready to walk down the aisle? She wants stylish, sophisticated, photo worthy, and functional. Weddingish introduces the new Swarovski Bridal Corset Tank. The Swarovski-studded tank top with corset style ties with fine satin ribbon embellished with tiny crystals. For the perfect photo op, the tank dazzles with genuine Swarovski crystals that read BRIDE across the chest.

Ideal for the bride to wear while preparing her hair and makeup on the big day, it allows her to slip out of her attire and into her gown without so much as a hair moved on her head. From boudoir pictorials as she gets ready with her back peeking out, to keeping her cool as the temperature rises as the clock counts down, we’ve created the first and only tank to cater to every bride.

Check out the NEW Bridal Corset Tank Top and let us know your thoughts on this HOT new item…

Blossoming Brides

Flowers of all species are the latest in bridal fashion. Designers have taken a cue from mother nature and so we’re seeing blooms of all different sizes and shapes from small and simple rosettes to large and oversized blossoms.  Both bridal and bridesmaids gowns include applications such as as floral embroidery, appliques, and even floaral prints. The nature-inspred dresses are great for a Spring or Summer wedding, so consider implementing one of these details to your 2010 wedding dress.
