A Vintage Touch
The number of wedding and bridal occasions with an old-fashioned or retro twist is on the rise (have you looked at photos from weddings recently?).
No doubt about it, there is something delightful about a vintage-inspired wedding. Whether marked by weathered seafoam green items or jewelry that has been passed down from generation to generation, anything that is old can be made new again. See the embroidered pillows, fine China, gold-capped salt and pepper shakers, and sparkling antique glass vase pictured below; these otherwise ordinary objects take on new meaning.
Need inspiration? Comb your grandmother’s home or storage boxes for antique pieces, or simply anything reminiscent of another time. Go a step further and visit your local antique stores and even thrift shops. You only need a few ideas and some patience!
Hugs, Raya
